I looked at the answers in the back and it says the answer is false however i want to know how to determine it because to me it looks true that both sides would be 2 or -2.
Absolute value of 6-8 = absolute value of 6 minus absolute value of 8.
I6-8I = I6I - I8I

On the left side abs%286-8%29=abs%28-2%29=2


On the right side abs%286%29-abs%288%29=6-8=-2


So the two sides are NOT the same.
