your rate is 70 miles per hour
your distance is 40 miles.
put that in your equation and you get:
70 * time = 40
divide both sides of that equation by 70 and you get
time = 40/70 hours.
this is equal to .571428571 hours
multiply that by 60 to get minutes.
you get:
time = (40*60)/70 which equals:
time = 34.28571429 minutes
