Let x = the number of hours the 2 trains meet after leaving point of origin
x(70+60)= 260
x = 260/130
x = 2
Let d = distance from west where the 2 trains will meet
260-d = distance from east where the 2 trains will meet
d = 70(2)
d = 140 miles(distance from west)
260-d = 260-140 = 120 miles (distance from east)
