2.) 3x%5E2-5x-12=0+

I'll just do the hardest one, as all three are done the same way:

3.) +6x%5E2-7x-24=0+

Isolate the x² and x terms on the left

6x%5E2-7x=24

Divide through by the coefficient of x

expr%286%2F6%29x%5E2-expr%287%2F6%29x+=+24%2F6

x%5E2-expr%287%2F6%29x+=+4

To the side

1. Multiply the coefficient of x by 1%2F2:  expr%28-7%2F6%29expr%281%2F2%29=-7%2F12
2. Square that result: %28-7%2F12%29%5E2+=+49%2F144

Add that to both sides of the equation:

x%5E2-expr%287%2F6%29x%2B49%2F144+=+4%2B49%2F144

The left side factors as %28x-7%2F12%29%5E2

We combine the factors on the right hand side: 4%2B49%2F144=4%2Aexpr%28144%2F144%29%2Bexpr%2849%2F144%29=576%2F144%2B49%2F144=625%2F144
