Question 473153: I am new to this type of math, I jumped in with both feet and now I am sinking. I am not sure of the formula for this problem I have read my text and re-read the text searching for the correct formula, the more I read the more jumbled the terminology becomes. My computer does not have the proper math functions for algebraic problems, so the forward slash in this problem I believe is angle? the symbol used looks like a lessor-than symbol. I am so lost can you please help?
m / A = 30.5 degrees. Determine the measure of the supplement to /A

Thank You

Hi,
Note: Supplementary Angles have a sum of 180°
m∠ A = 30.5°
the supplement of this angle would be: (180° - 30.5°) = 149.5°
