Hi,
How many ways can six out of 12 cars be lined up 'in order' is 12P6
Ways of lining up four out of five trucks 'in order' is 5P4
How many ways can six out of 12 cars be lined up in order,
followed by lining up four out of five trucks in order?
12P6*5P4 = 665,280*120 = 79,833,600 ways
For ex 12P6 can be found on a scientific calculator : 12!/6! = 665,280
