Question 471993: Im wondering, from the equation y=mx+b, y and x don't equal anything right, and if x=2, y would also equal 2 am i right? Answer by richard1234(7193) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! y = mx + b is just a widely used notation for a linear function. x and y could equal anything, and x = 2 does not necessarily mean that y = 2.
