height = x
base = 3x+3
Area = 30 ft^2
Area of triangle = 1/2 * base * height
30=1/2 *x*(3x+3)
multiply by 2
60= 3x^2+3x
3x^2 +3x-60=0
/3
x^2+x-20=0
x^2+5x-4x-20
x(x+4)-4(x+5)=0
(x+5)(x-4)=0
x=4 OR -5 ignore negative value
height = 4 feet
base = 4*3+3=15 feet
