You can put this solution on YOUR website!
A shade of green paint is made by mixing 3 parts of blue paint with 7 parts of yellow paint.
How much yellow paint is needed to make 70 quarts of green paint?
:
Let x = the multiplier
3x + 7x = 70
10x = 70
x = 7 is the multiplier
therefore
7*7 = 49 qts of yellow paint
and
7*3 - 21 qts of blue paint
