You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Let the width be x meters. The length, as per the problem, is (2x-6)meters.
Perimeter= 2(length+ width)= 2((2x-6)+x))meters= 4x-12+2x =126meters.
Solving,6x=138
x= 23
Width of the rectangle= 23meters
Length of the rectangle= 2(23)-6= 46-6=40 meters.
You can verify for the given perimeter.
