Question 469380: please help me solve this equation?
Graph y=2.
Found 2 solutions by algebrahouse.com, stanbon: Answer by algebrahouse.com(1659) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! y = 2 is a horizontal line through 2 on the y-axis
Whenever you have an equation that starts off "y =", and
then it is just a number on the other side. The graph would
be a horizontal line through that number.
Likewise, if the equation starts off "x = ", and
then it is just a number on the other side. The graph would
be a vertical line through that number.
For example x = 4, would be a vertical line through 4 on the x-axis.

Graph y=2.
----
2 points determine a line.
Let x = 0, then y = 2
Let x = 5, then y = 2
---
Plot (0,2) and (5,2) and draw a line thru them to get:
