I assume you are factoring out the greatest common factor
w^6xy^3 - wx^4y^2
GCF of w^6 and w is.....w
GCF of x and x^4 is.....x
GCF of y^3 and y^2 is....y^2
GCF is wxy^2
= wxy^2(w^5y - x^3) {divided each term by GCF to get what is in parentheses}
