Substitute (2) into (1),
4(58 - 9y) + 3y = -1
232 - 36y + 3y = -1
232 - 33y = -1
thus,
33y = 232+1
33y = 233, divide by 33 on both side
y = 233/33
for x:
x = 58 - 9(233/33)
x = -61/11
and finally,
x = -61/11 and y = 233/33 <---- answer
