Question 468683: simplify
3V-1
the v is a square root symbol, and the 3 is suppose to be in the indentation of the root, not directly to the side. Would the answer be that the root is not a real number? I thought if there is a negative inside the root, that is the answer, but I do not know Answer by Theo(13342) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! 3 * square root (-1) would be an imaginary number.
square root of a negative number will not give you a real number.
This should look like if i understood you correctly.
