2 + 11 = 13
2 + 17 = 19
2 + 29 = 31
2 + 41 = 43
2 + 59 = 61
2 + 101 = 103

Notice that all have a 2, the only even prime number.
Adding 2 odd numbers would give an even number, which could not be prime.
