Question 466670: Please help me with this question. I have a huge test due! Thanks!!
(-3x)^2(2x^4)^2
Multiply
Answer by algebrahouse.com(1659) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! (-3x)²(2x^4)²
= 9x²(4x^8) {took everything in parentheses to the 2nd power, multiplied exponents}
= 36x^10 {multiplied 9 by 4 and added exponents when multiplying}
*when you have a power to a power, multiply the exponents
when you are multiplying same variables, add the exponents
when you are dividing same variables, subtract the exponents*
