You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Person A is 35, person B is 10. How old will both person A, and B be when person A is 3 times older than person B?
----------------
A = B + 25
A + x = 4(B + x) in x years
B + 25 + x = 4B + 4x
10 + 25 + x = 4*10 + 4x
35 + x = 40 + 4x
-5 = 3x
x = -5/3 years
------------
When A is 100/3 years and B is 25/3 years of age.
--------------
3 times older is 4 times as old.
