Question 46621: sqrt of A minus 4th root of A minus 6 = Zero
Would you break this down to:
A to the 1/2 minus A to the 1/4 minus 6 = Zero
A to the 1/2 minus A to the 1/4 = 6
From here I am not sure how to proceed.
Thank you.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
I will start where you left off:
A%5E%281%2F2%29+-+A%5E%281%2F4%29+=+6+
Let B=sqrt%28A%29:
B-sqrt%28B%29=6
I know that B=9 (I saw this quite quickly, and I only gained this ability from practice)
Now A=3%5E2
So A=81.
I hope This helps,
Adam.
