You can put this solution on YOUR website!
"Angle 1 and 2 are supplementary. If angle 1 = 3x and angle 2 = 2x. What is the measure of angle 1?"

Supplementary angles add up to 180°

angle 1 = 3x
angle 2 = 2x

3x + 2x = 180 {the two angles add up to 180}
5x = 180 {combined like terms}
x = 36

angle 1 = 3x
= 3(36) {substituted 36, in for x, into 3x}
= 108°
