Christy's plan for a rectangular dog pen is too small. The perimeter needs to be more than 118 feet. If the width should be nine feet shorter than the length, what should the length be?

if length is x, then width would be x-9
So then you get an equation using perimeter formula
2x+2(x-9)>118
2x+2x-18>118
4x-18>118
4x>136
x>34
so the length should be greater than 34
