SOLUTION: This is the exact question: Express the product of a number increased by 15, and the number -8 This is what I did: 2.2.2.2.2.2.2 . 2.2.2.2.2.2.2.2= 2^7 . 2^8 = 2^7+8 = 2^15

Question 46534: This is the exact question:
Express the product of a number increased by 15, and the number -8
This is what I did:
2.2.2.2.2.2.2 . 2.2.2.2.2.2.2.2=
2^7 . 2^8 = 2^7+8 = 2^15
AND
5^-4 . 5^4 = 5^-8
Is that right, and does the question sound like they want me to actually work the problem I created?
Thank you!

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Well, you did a lot of work but I don't think that you have actually anwered the question.
Let N be the number.
The number N, increased by 15 is just (N+15) and the number N, minus 8 is just (N-8)
The product of these two is:
(N+15)(N-8) ...and if you perform the indicated multiplication, you'll get:
N%5E2+%2B+7N+-+120
