I think that this problem is fairly easy, but who knows?

First, let's use the 24 hour time system. 2:00 A.M. becomes 0200. 3:00 P.M. becomes 1500. The difference between 0200 and 1500 is 1300 or 13 hours.

Rate of change should = change divided by time
= 56F-43F/13 hours
= 13F/13 hours
= 1 dgree F/h
