3)Two persons roll a pair of dice alternately till one gets a total of 9 and wins the game. If A is the first person to throw, what is the probability that A wins the game?
4)The probabilities of the three doctors A, B and C getting success in an operation are 0.5, 0.2 and 0.3 respectively. What is the probability that the operation is not successful?
