When x=0, you can see that y = -6: (0,-6).

We also can try to find the value of x that leads to y=0.
So
Add 6 to both sides.
Multiply by 4 to eliminate the fraction.
Multiply by -1 to change the sign of x to positive.
By inspection we can see that
So that results in the righthand side being 6-6 = 0.
That defines the point (-24,0)
With two points you can graph a straight line.
Finally, we know that a negative slope means the lines goes down from the upper left to the lower right side of the graph. That's how it looks. And it goes through the two defined points. So, we're done.
