You can put this solution on YOUR website!
"a man is 24 years older than his son. In two years, his age will be twice the age of his son. Which one the following is the present of his son ?"

x = son's age now
x + 24 = man's age now

x + 2 = son's age in 2 years
x + 26 = man's age in 2 years

x + 26 = 2(x + 2) {in two years the man will be twice as old as the son}
x + 26 = 2x + 4 {used distributive property}
26 = x + 4 {subtracted x from both sides}
x = 22 {subtracted 4 from both sides}
x + 24 = 46 {substituted 22, in for x, into x + 24}

the son is 22
