Question 463307: I'm in beginning algebra.
This exercise is translating the problem into an equation.
The problem:
5. 3 times the sum of a number and 7 is 4 times that same number.
3(x+7) (x+4) = I don't think this is right
also
3(x+7) = 4x
Are either of these right?
