Question 460400: I have my Algebra 1 Exam. Its worth 70% of my grade, 50 questions. If my total average for the year is a C- , is it possible that if i do good on the exam it will be raised to a C? If so , what would i have to get on the exam? I need a 75 percent or higher average in the class. My grades were : C- , C- , D , and now im at A D+

You're a little unclear, is your year-to-date average a C- or a D+?

Regardless, if the test accounts for 70% of your final grade, that's a huge chunk. Even a grade of 80% should raise your overall grade to a 75%. Aim for a higher percentage grade to be safe.
