SOLUTION: 3x^2+13x=10
3x^2+13x-10=0
9+1+13x-10=0
13x=0
x=-13
Could you please help me? Am I even close?

You can put this solution on YOUR website! I have no idea what you are trying to do to solve this. It seems like you fill in random numbers. How does 13x = 0 turn into x = -13? Here:
3x^2 + 13x = 10
3x^2 + 13x - 10 = 0 find the sum of two factors of the product of (3) and (-10) that sum to (13) ~~~> they are 15 and -2
3x^2 + 15x - 2x - 10 = 0
(3x^2 + 15x) + (-2x - 10) = 0
3x(x + 5) - 2(x + 5) = 0
(3x - 2)(x + 5) = 0
3x - 2 = 0
3x = 2
x = 2/3
and
x + 5 = 0
x = -5
You can put this solution on YOUR website! Solve: Subtract 10 from both sides of the equation. Factor the equation. Apply the zero products principle. and/or
