Sorry but make it an improper fraction and divide by 4
10 1/3
31/3 or 124/12
There are two ways to divide by 4.
You can divide the numerator by 4 or multiply the denominator by 4
so we get 31/12
31/3 multiply the denominator by 4
31/12
124/12 divide the numerator by 4
31/12
same answer

so 31/12=2 7/12
