If you are allowed to use a graphing calculator, punch in the given expression, and you will see that this expression has a root=2
Then divide x-2 into the given expression by long division or synthetic division. Sorry I don't have the means to show you how, but you should come up with the following answer:
(9x^3-18x^2-16x+32)/x-2=9x^2-16
9x^2-16=0
x^2=9/16
x=±4/3=±1.3 (the other two roots)

Roots are: -1.3,1.3,2
