A y-intercept is a point at which a graph crosses the y-axis. Any point on the y-axis has an x value of 0. A graph of a function has only+one+y-intercept.

so, set x=0 and find y
+y=%284%2F3%290-2
+y=-2 ...a point at which a graph crosses the y-axis is: (0,-2)
