I guess you have this:
g%28x%29=+8%2F%288-7x%29.........take a look at denominator...it cannot be equal to zero
let's find x for which %288-7x%29=0
8=7x
8%2F7=x
1.14=x....this is not a part of solution for g%28x%29=+8%2F%288-7x%29
