Question 456309: How do I graph using the slope and y-intercept?
x + 3y=9
Answer by Alan3354(69443) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! Find the slope and y-int by solving for y
y = (-1/3)x + 3
Slope m = -1/3, y-int = (0,3)
-------------
Plot (0,3)
From that point, count 3 to the right and 1 down (or 6 over and 2 down) for the 2nd point.
Draw a line thru them.
That's all
