You only need 2 points to graph a line.
---
Let x = 0, then y = (1/3)0-1 = -1
giving you point (0,-1)
----
Let x = 3, then y = (1/3)(3)-1 = 1-1 = 0
giving you point (3,0)
----
Plot the two points and draw a line thru them.
