Question 455510: hello :) i am having difficulty on this problem, the directions are to "rearrange and graph it". i think it will turn out looking like a hyperbola.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Multiply both sides by (-1) and get:
2x%5E2-4y%5E2%2B8x%2B20y-61=0=>2%28x%5E2%2B4x%2B4%29-%28%282y%29%5E2-20y%2B25%29-8%2B25-61=0=>
2%28x%2B2%29%5E2-%282y-5%29%5E2=44, divide both sides by 44 and get the equation:
%28x%2B2%29%5E2%2F22-%282y-5%29%5E2%2F44=1 of the hyperbola.
