Find an equation of the line having the
given slope and containing the given point.
m=4/5, (2,-3)

Form y = mx + b
Substitute and solve for "b":
-3 = (4/5)(2) + b
-3 = (8/5) + b
(-15/5)-(8/5) = b
b = -(23/5)

Find b by plugging the values of m & the point in
y=mx+b
-3=1.60 +b
b=-4.6
m=0.8
Plug value of the slope and b in y = mx +b
The required equation isy=0.8x-4.6
y= 4/ 5 x-23/ 5
