x+-+3%2F4+=+1%2F3
You want to get x by itself so you have to do the opposite of - 3/4 which will be 3/4 (positive) on both sides
+x+=+1%2F3+%2B+3%2F4
This is probably where you are stuck, the last thing you need to do is simplify and combine like terms. The easiest way to do this is multiply the denominators with the other numerator then simplify, remember, what you do to the numerator you do to the denominator:
x+=+%284+%2A+1%29%2F%283+%2A+4%29+%2B+%283+%2A+3%29%2F%284+%2A+3%29
x+=+4%2F12+%2B+9%2F12
(Do not simplify at this point, add first because they have the same denominators)
x+=+13%2F12
It can't be simplified so you are done.
