x=0.875*1.618
x=1.41575

The Golden ratio is the ratio length/width of a rectangular, in our case:
L%2FW=1.618. Let's = X the length of the cardboard, since the width of the
cardboard is W=0.875, we write:1.618=X%2F0.875=>X=1.618%2A0.875
X=1.416 ft.
Answer:The length of the cardboard is 1.416 ft.
