Question 454771: I am not sure how to find out the LCD. Can you please help? Thanks!!
3a^2/a^2+a+1 2a/a-1 a^3/a^3-1
I know that in order to find the LCD you would have to multiply the top and bottom of the fraction but on this one I just keep getting stuck :( Help!

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
3a^2/a^2+a+1 2a/a-1 a^3/a^3-1
-----
Factor each denominator:
a^2+a+1 is not further factorable.
a-1 is not further factorable.
a^3-1 = (a-1)(a^2+a+1)
-------------------------
LCD = (a-1)(a^2+a+1)
