The logarithm of a product is like log(M*N).
The product of logarithms is like log(M)*log(N).

It is a very important distinction to make, since the first case brings up the very important LAW OF LOGARITHMS:

log(M*N) = log(M) * log(N).

There is no such property for the second case, the product of logarithms!
