Question 453696: Suppose John draws a card from a standard deck of cards. What is the probability that he draws a heart or an ace.
(1) 12/52 (2) 16/52 (3) 18/52 (4) 17/52
I was stuck because i thought that there are 4 types of symbols in cards, hearts spades, clover, and diamond. So to find the probability of only hearts or an ace it must be 4*4 ? or 4*2? in total i know there is 52 cards. Answer by rfer(16322) (Show Source):
