Question 453632: In isosceles triangle ABC, B is the vertex. The measure of angle B. can be represented as (2x+12). The measure of angle A. can be represented as (4x-1). Find the measure of all three angles of the triangle. Be sure to name the angle with it’s measurement (ex: angle A= ).

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
In your isosceles triangle angle A is equal to angle C equal to 4x-1 degree.
Since the sum of interior angles of the triangle is 180 degree we write the equation:
2%284x-1%29%2B2x%2B12=180, solving this equation we get x=17.
Now compute the measures of angles: Angle B=2%2A17%2B12=46 degree.
Angle B=C=4%2A17-1=67 degree.
