You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The general form of a parabola is given by the equation:
y=Ax%5E2+%2B+Bx+%2B+C++where A, B, and C are arbitrary real+constants.
The vertex is at: (+-B%2F2A+, C+-+B%5E2%2F4A )
you are given:
y+=+-x%5E2+%2B+5x+-+6 which is already in general form of a parabola
so, A=-1, B=5, and C=-6
now find the coordinates of the vertex:

(+-B%2F2A+, C+-+B%5E2%2F4A )

+-B%2F2A=-5%2F2%28-1%29=-5%2F-2=5%2F2=2.5+,
C+-+B%5E2%2F4A=%28-6%29-25%2F4%28-1%29=-6%2B25%2F4=-6%2B6.25=0.25
so, the vertex is at: (2.5,0.25)
