Question 453120: 1.Find A for the right triangle if c=24 and b=30. Round to the nearest tenth.
How would I find big A?
2.Find the values of the six trig. finctions for an angle in standard position if the point (1,2) lies on its terminal side. Answer as a fraction in simplest form.
3.Find the area of the triangle given by: A=43, b=16, and c=12. Round to the nearest tenth.
How to I do these?

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
1.Find A for the right triangle if c=24 and b=30. Round to the nearest tenth.
How would I find big A?
---
If "b" is the hypotenuse, cos(A) = c/b = 24/30 = 0.8
Then B = cos^-1(0.8) = 36.87 degrees
------------------------------------------
2.Find the values of the six trig. finctions for an angle in standard position if the point (1,2) lies on its terminal side. Answer as a fraction in simplest form.
---
x = 1 and y = 2 so r = sqrt(1^2+2^2) = sqrt(5)
sin = y/r = 2/sqrt(5)
cos = x/r = 1/sqrt(5)
tan = y/x = 2
---
csc = r/y = sqrt(5)/2
sec = r/x = sqrt(5)
cot = x/y = 1/2
------------------------------

3.Find the area of the triangle given by: A=43, b=16, and c=12. Round to the nearest tenth.
---
Area = (1/2)*b*c*sin(A) = (1/2)*16*12*sin(43) = 65.47 sq units
