Say the length of the longer leg is x. Then the hypotenuse measures x + 60. So, using the Pythagorean Theorem, x^2 + 180^2 = (x + 60)^2.
x^2 + 32400 = x^2 + 120x + 3600
32400 = 120x + 3600
120x = 28800
x = 240
The longer leg measures 240 m.
