You can put this solution on YOUR website!
How do I solve for x in this equation:
3^(5x)=8^(x+4)
---
Take the log of both sides to get:
(5x)log(3) = (x+4)log(8)
---
[5log(3) - log(8)]x = 4log(8)
---
x = 2.4366..
