If a farmer stand owner mixes apple juice and cranberry juice, how much should he charge if he mixes 8L of apple juice selling for 45 cents a liter with 10L of cranberrt juice sellling for $1.08 a liter.

=26 cents

Let c = cost in cents of mixture
Cost of apple juice = +8%2A45+=+360+ cents
Cost of cranberry juice = 10%2A108+=+1080+ cents
Cost of mixture:
+360+%2B+1080+=+1440+
He should sell the mixture for $14.40
That is +1440+%2F+18+=+80+
80 cents/liter
