S+L=133
4S=3L
Solve the first equation for either variable:
S=-L+133
substitute into the second equation:
4(-L+133)=3L
Distributive property:
-4L+532=3L
Add 4L to both sides:

Divide both sides by 7:
L=76
S=-76+133
S=57
L=76 S=57
