Question 450862: Adam makes pizza at Charlie's Clean Cuisine Emporium. All pizzas have cheese. Customers can choose to top their pizzas with sausage, pepperoni, onions, mushrooms, or green peppers. Adam hates anchovies so they are not on the menu. People were complaining that they did not have enough choices. So Adam said, "What do you mean..not enough choices? You can order over a million different combinations." Adam is obviously exaggerating. Or is he? How many different pizzas are actually possible? If Adam is exaggerating, how many toppings would be needed for Adam to be right?

You can put this solution on YOUR website! How many different pizza combinations? Since there are 5 different toppings, you have 5C5+5C4+5C3+5C2+5C1 different ways, or 1+5+10+10+5=31 different ways.
To get a million different combinations, i'd estimate you'd need at least 20 different toppings, including anchovies..
