You can put this solution on YOUR website! In a survey of drinking laws, a random sample of 1000 women showed that 65% were in favor of increasing the legal drinking age. In a random sample of 1000 men, 60% favored increasing the drinking age. Test the hypothesis that the percentage of men and women favoring a higher drinking age is the same use alpha=0.05 ----------------
 Ho: pw-pm = 0 (claim)
 Ha: pw-pm is not 0
 ------------------------
 I ran a 2-PropZTest on a TI-84 and got the following:
 test statistic: z = 2.3094
 p-value: 0.0209
 Conclusion:
Since the p-value is less than 5%, reject Ho.
The test results do not support the claim.
